Hypophysitis are a heterogeneous group of inflammatory lesions affecting the hypophysis. Have been described hypophysitis secondary to administration of immunomodulatory drugs such as interferon and anti-cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4 antibodies (CTLA-4).
